INGREDIENTS
- 2 TBSP of Olive Oil (OO)
- 3 Ripe Peaches
- Flaky Biscuits of your choice
- 1/4 TSP Nutmeg
- Splash of Lemon Juice
- 1/4 TSP of Cinnamon
- 1/8 TSP of Vanilla
- 1/4 CUP of Maple Syrup
Makes about 4-6 Servings
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut up the peaches in wedges. Heat up skillet. Once the pan is hot, add your extra virgin olive oil. Wait till it heats up then add the peaches. Let them simmer for a minute so the juices start flowing. Add the nutmeg and stir. Add the splash of juice and stir once more. Add cinnamon then stir. Then add the vanilla and maple syrup and stir. Let it simmer for a minute or two.
Heat up the biscuits in the microwave if they are not fresh out of the oven. You can also toast them in the toaster. Or split them in half, add butter and toast them on a pan. Once ready, add the peaches. You can garnish with sprinkled cinnamon and sugar, drizzle maple syrup, add the sauce sitting in the pan from the peaches you just cooked.
It takes me about 15 minutes to make these delicious and easy Peach Biscuit Sandwiches. But I’m certain it takes seconds for them to be inhaled, they are that good.
